L‘arricciatore consente di creare automaticamente pieghe ravvicinate o distanziate durante la cucitura. Questo accessorio è estremamente utile per pieghe, arricciature, arredamento, ecc. 
L‘arricciatore può essere utilizzato in tre modi:
1. Piegando e fissando le pieghe nel tessuto.
2. Eseguendo le pieghe nel tessuto e fissandole a un secondo tessuto con un‘unica 
operazione.
3. Eseguendo le pieghe nel tessuto, fissando del pizzo e fissando il tutto a un altro tessuto 
con un‘unica operazione.
